CoolSpeed® Flex is a new type of high speed, turbine-driven spindle that features an adjustable number of jets. This innovative new design allows the Flex to operate on machines with coolant flow as low as 2 gal/min (8 l/min). Just like the CoolSpeed® mini, the Flex is plug-and-play, crash-resistant, and maintenance-free.
Continuous high precision
- The cutting tool shank serves as the spindle shaft
- Dynamic run-out 4 microns or better
- Bearings easily replaced with each cutting tool change
Efficiently turn any machine into an ultra-high-speed machining center
- Milling Centers, Turning Centers, Swiss Type Lathes
- Extends the machine spindle life time
- Fits in standard tool holders for automatic tool change
Includes 2 bearings and 1 turbine, which should be replaced each time the tool is changed. The bearings and turbines are not intended for reuse. Each Replacement kit is suitable for the respective tool shank diameter.
Tool Shank Diameter: 3 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm
Used to assemble the bearings and turbine onto the tool shank. The assembly device works with any of the three supported metric tool shank diameters.
Tool Shank Diameter: 3 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm
The App „CoolSpeed® Pressure Gauge“ connects to the Bluetooth Pressure Gauge and displays the rotation speed, coolant pressure, flow rate and power of the high-speed spindle in real time.
More about the „CoolSpeed® Pressure Gauge“ App
Used to measure operating pressure at spindle face. Secondary scale on gauge face indicates tool rpm.
Use in conjunction with Pressure Gauge Adapter.
All components needed to set up and use CoolSpeed® Flex. The products are packed in a handy carrying case.
